LEARN HOW TO CREATE A SHORT FILM AT NYFA

During NYFA’s Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) in Filmmaking at NYFA Los Angeles, students develop their voice as storytellers and shape their future in film, television, and entertainment. Following NYFA’s signature approach, students learn-by-doing through a strict regimen of lectures, seminars, and total immersion workshops.

Throughout the program, students build skills in directing, cinematography, editing, writing, and producing, creating a variety of short films and original video content. The AFA in film program at NYFA is an excellent fit for individuals who want to pursue their interests in film, entertainment, and media.

NYFA AFA students study filmmaking at NYFA Los Angeles, the West Coast’s hub for media, entertainment, television, and film. In Burbank, where NYFA Los Angeles is located, AFA students are next to Universal and Warner Brother studios, which often use to shoot and direct their films.
